The firm of ROBERT YAM & CO, with a history of more than 30 years, has been established in Singapore since the 1st of July 1977 as a firm of Chartered Accountants and Certified Public Accountants.
With its businesses growing every year, it has a current staff strength of about 48 consisting mostly of professional accountants and graduate accountants and its number is increasing every year.
Apart from the core business of auditing & assurance,
accounting and tax services, the firm has evolved to encompass its business operation with every aspects of professional work such as general business consultancy and advisory, regulatory compliances, risks assessments, tax planning, company liquidation and investigation and information technology.

Over the years, we have built up a wealth of experience and a vast network of clients many of which are family controlled businesses, small to medium sized companies (SMEs) that have grown with us over the years to the point that a number of them are now established entities.
Our Strengths
We believe that our services are more personalised than other firms in that we deliver real benefit only if they are properly structured to meet the clients' needs.
As our clients' individual needs do vary greatly, we are reluctant to provide "off-the-shelf" solutions to resolve clients' individual requirements.
It makes no difference whether we are carrying a straight forward audit or advising on a complicated group re-structuring as we are able to understand our clients' businesses and appreciate their needs. We would prefer to work hand in hand with them to resolve their problems and provide them with a solution.
